had a great day! hehe...learnt to cut mangoes. surprise huh! laurel doesn't know how to cut mangoes??? hahaha...well, it's different if u have to cut it for the mango mousse cake. i cut it badly since it was my first time and had a hard time tryin to lay them out nicely on the cake. no wonder they insisted that i cut it in a certain way, using a particular knife.
altho i was kinda upset over the final outcome, i was encouraged by the fact that i could learn it. i hope i'll be given another chance to learn again!
i know my mistakes and will want to correct them.
oh, i finally tasted the bread which i've been making almost every week...my god..it sux! i never say that bread tasted badly. but this is horrible. it's not the dough, but it juz lacks sthg that'll make u wanna eat more of it. ham, cheese and eggs plus some herbs...not the herbs that's bad..ther est kinda standard...it's pretty bland. think the dough is not very good. i mean not suitable for the ingredients. inc ase u dunno, there're different kinds of dough.
ok, today has been quite good and i'm happy!
