life is a balance. why i say that? where there's goodness, there's also evil. where there's pain, there's also tears of joy.
that's my life now. i just received an email from my fren's auntie. i'm currently teaching her two sons primary one and and two, chinese indians, chinese phonics. surprised huh. my chinese only so so but i can handle the speaking and reading parts. in the email, her aunt told me that her sons dare to communicate in chinese with their father (chinese) in Mandarin.
now, the father's abit worried abt me leaving for sydney. hehe...wat an accomplishment for me!
if i've not had a dream of being a chef, i will continue to be a full time tutor. never mind, at elast next time i can look back and said that i've tried teaching and was pretty good in it.
that's the good news. the bad news is my left hand's still in a bandage. but my thumb does not hurt so badly now. next week i'll be back at work.
nice balance huh.
i bought adam khoo's "i'm gifted so are you". if u dunno who he is, then check out on him via the net. u can say, he's on of my mentors. ok, i bought that book for my cousin's birthday. on my way home juz now i read the book, chapter 12- about goals. not football hor...but the things we wanna achieve or attain.
after reading it, ir ealized that wat adam said was true. if u dunhave goals, u've got no direction in life. but if u have goals, ur goals gotta be those ambitiious ones. the more incredible it sounds, the better the goals are.
go by ur feelings and emotions, that was wat adam said. most of the time we get advice like "be realistic". but the truth is, achievers aren't realistic and that's why they set records. roger bannister who ran one mile under 4mins set the benchmark for others.
altho my future is totally unpredictable, instilled with fear, i'll churn this fear into excitement and drive. i HAVE TO! no room for procrastination.
i am sharing this with ya coz i know each one of you have a bright future ahead of ya. but sometimes u may fall into depression of cast doubt over ur own actions or decisions. dun do that. we're all achievers.
bring out the best in urself.
