started the day off very well after learning that my idol, pete sampras clinched the men's singles' finals in the US Open. wat a feat, pete!
iwa tched him play in 1996 and i fell in love with tennis. his serve and volley style is awesome! plus he's mr Cool on court. great athlete with 14 grand slam titles plus his sportsmanship. now he has set a record being the oldest man to win the title. kudos to sampras!
the rest of the day was at work..i toyed with chocolate. early in the mornin my love affair begins with with my white chocolate. did some decorative stuff with it. my first time doing this style and it was a success. so proud of myself. i learnt to be more 'gentle' with chocolate. now i understnad, that delicate stuff require careful and light handedness.
but i made a horrible error later in the afternoon. forgot to set the timer for the bread used in bread and butter pudding. had to toast the bread. it wasn't burnt like charcoal but too dark to be able to be used. the chef scolded me for wasting food.
hmmm...i admit that it was an error. altho i put the tray of bread in the oven, it was the china guy who managed the switches. so i had thought that he wld set the timer. well, he didn't lah and i got scolded. he had made that a few times whereas it's my first time doing it.
damn! never mind, i ;earnt a lessonanyway. dun juz assume that pple will help u even if they've placed their hands on the stuff u're supposed to work on. check it on ur own.
