i removed th bandage from my hand. for a while i didn't know how to use my left thumb. it was quiet stiff. supposed to go back tmrw to the sin seh to check on my thumb, but i think the sin seh is juz trying to earn more money from me. i'm gonna juz continue to rub ointment on my thumb. it hurts alittle when i bend it. still can't apply too much force on my thumb. i shd be able to recover by this weekend.
read a book on "wake up your dreams". so enlightening! so motivating! i wondered if the MPs here have read this book. altho it talked abt God, the book is largely devoted to accomplishing your dreams.noted down some quotes which i will try to put them on this site. one of the forces that deter us from pursuing our dreams is ROUTINE.
yea, when everything is so routinzed, we juz sit back and do the same stuff everyday. why wld u wanna distort that kinda life? it's so easy, right?
that's why govt needs entrepreneurs. coz we're getting complacent. didn't they see that ten yrs ago? all we're concerned abt is USA. we didn't ahve a mind of our own. i read in the ST recently and this guy wrote that we merely copy watever that seems profitable. unlike the japs, they're so innovative. we ought to learn from them. for eg., bubble tea stalls. when one makes money, we all rush to grab that franchaise.
we need creativity. we need imagination. we need dreamers. we need to day-dream to keep those neuro connections going. did i get that right?
i also learnt that i can sharpen the purpose of my dream by asking myself these questions:
1. WHY is my dream impt?
2. WHO will my dream benefit most?
3. HOW is my dream going to come true
4.WHERE is my dream going?
5. WHAT is most impt abt my dream?
6.WHEN will my dream be successful?
pals, i know it's all abt dreams, dreams and dreams. i ask that u change the word dreams to goals. i hope u can ask these qns too.
let's not follow the complacent ones. let's be more gutsy. easier said than done right? my mum always tells me. if u dun try, u dunno. but if u have tried and failed in it, u're not a failure.
indeed, failure's an event; it doesn't make a person a failure.
