hey1 i had a great day!!! for the first time, the chef aloowed me to make a mousse cake! made the ivory cake which of coz will be sold. got it perfect! he was very pleased with my performance. it's really an experience and i hope i'll be able tog et more of such oppties. then before i elft, he asked me to make this passionfruit and chocolate cake. it's for me!!!! he wanted me to make it personally so that he said, i will be able tot ell everyone eating the cake that it's my own work!!! he's very nice right??
i learnt alot today.
however, he told me that he'll be resigning soon. i shd be able to work with till the end of the yr. actually i want to stay on till jan but looks like i'll leave with him. then he said that my dad's fren. who's the COO and got me this job, has resigned. i think i've to leave also coz i've always had this impression that the executive chef doesn't like me. i hope i can still work till the end of the yr. it's really sad. but i'll keep in contact with the chef. he's leaving coz he can't work with his asst. he regretted not retrenching him. he had tor etrench another person instead. he told me that it was a terrible mistake.
this chef is very responsible. he is the kind who does his work quietly and not gossip. he doesn't abuse his power as the chief chef in the kitchen (he has to report to the executive chef).
office politics sucks. till now i still dun understand why human beings can't juz work in peace. afterall, we're all out there to earn a salary.
