a new life

i'm teaching my p5 student GP i think. hehe. well, i've given her newspaper articles tor ead. but of coz i go through every single line and word with her. along the way, i explain the article and highlight cheem words and phrases. giving her spelling on these words and i've been doing verbal comrehension too. when i asked her whether she thught that this idea of feeding her tiwh articles is interesting, she said yes. i am happy. coz if she thinks that it's intersting, then i can throw her more articles. then after all the explanation, i ask her to write a summary on the article. sounds tough rite? well, i juz told her to write abt the article, wat she understands from the article but no lifitng of sentences. it's not easy but i assured her that there's no right or wrong ans. inf act there's no ans. i juz wanted her to write. also, i've asked her to include her feelings and her opinions on the article. tmrw i'lls ee her and i hope she has done her work and not disappointed me.
perhaps i've given her a diffcult task but i think she needs to build on her general knowledge plus her english. this way, i can kill two birds with a stone.
hopefully it'll be a success.
