my working relationship with the chef in the kitchen has certainly imrpoved over the last few mths. today i made cappuccino mousse cake. the chef said to me early in the morning "today, u call the shots. cappuccino mousse is urs."
wah..i tell ya...abit stress there on my part but i went thr it successfully. the texture of the cake was good. very smooth and thick. was so happy!!!!
i am beginning to understand how to apply the theories i was taught the last few mths. and i am so grateful to the chef for giving me a chance to do it right. he knows i lack the industrial experience and he gave me juz that!
boy, am i lucky to meet this kind chef. he's the unselfish kind. willing to tell me and teach me.
i zombied my way at work today. damn tired.
since last friday i didn't stop excpet to sleep. over the weekend, emt up with my primary sch mates. u know, everytime i see them, i feel extremely happy. it's like the good old days. we're still so playful even tho we're officially adults.
then on sunday, i emt up with these two other gal frens of mine from sec sch. one of them made me a tin of stars. those paper stars...she folded them on her own. one whole tin! i was so touched. could feel the sincerity from her. it's her farewell gift to me since i refuse to divulge when i'll be leaving.
the best thing that has ever happened to me is the pple ard me -my family and frens. i'm so blessed with all of ya. everyone has a part in "making" laurel. u're the mirror of laurel.
