the weeks days are like whizzing past me. can hardly catch my breath! the last few days have been pretty hectic for me as i was out with my pri, sec and jc frens. crazy right?
my visa has been approved so now, am waiting for flight confirmation. other than that, juz hav eto buy some toiletries and pack my stuff.
in abt a week's time, my sis will be back from usa. guess he'll be busy meeting up with his frens so will i. looking fwd to see him.
i'm also looking fwd to christmas coz i'm having a semi-buffet, semi bbq at my place. it's juz between my family and close relatives. i'm not inviting any frens coz i dunno which gp to invite. if i invite all, i can foresee myself in a very diffcult position - which grp to entertain. i think it would be better for me to go out with each grp than to have everyone together. a little awkward as all the grps are very different from one another. moreover, i'll be the maria that day so defintely out as a host. that's why i told my mum that i cna't possibly invite my frens over.
am gonna make a fruit cake, chocolate fudge cake and tiramisu for that day. a little of everything. then i'll make the shantung pancake which is like roti prata but much thicker, pasta, and tortilla (mexican popiah ). grandma's gonna cook curry too. then we have bbq prawns, satay and chicken wings. it's the rainy season so better have a semi buffet to fill my guests' tummies.
i'm excited over it coz i get to prepare the stuff. watz new from laurel right.
