didn't go to manly beach instead we went to the famous bondi beach. it was crowded. many surfers, or rather pple learning how to surf. didn't swim but will do so when 2 wks later we go down to manly beach. the water was very cold but still, my frens and i went to soak our feet....hahahaha. juz to get the feel lah. the water's very clear, and the sand's soft n clean!

had fish n chips for lunch. the fish was very fresh. btw, i've feedback that the way i described the food i've made and the pastries have made u all drool, well, all i can say is, KEEP DROOLING! that's why i encourage u all to learn to cook. u'll love every minute of it and every meal is sumptous. of coz, the beginning will be slightly torturous plus the not so edible food u've cooked. keep trying!

anyway, today the sun barely appeared for the entire day. maybe it's sunday, like my fren said, so it needs a rest too n there was the rain. pretty heavy but i was already on my way home so no worries abt being drenched. had dinner at my fren's place. we bought oven-baked chicken, boiled some buk choy n topped with oyster sauce. it was nice. had rice with it and watermelon for dessert. really happy.

u know sitting down on the beach and juz looking at the water with a cuppa coffee was sooooooooo relaxing. i didn't think of anything. was really taken in by the breeze n the scenery. it was cloudy the whole time but really lovely. reminds us of those stupid chinese movies whre u see two lovers from two ends running towards each other. hahhahaha.

oh, there have been worldwide protests agst the war and when i passed by hyde park ard 11am plus, there were lotsa police officers and then i realised that the protests will start from there! i missed the entire thing and when i was returning home, at circular quay, there were pple making noise at the ferry terminal. along the streets, pple were carrying singboards...agst the war of coz. dun remember the words. i snapped a pic of those protesters at circular quay. man....i wld have given up the beach for this u know. first time in my life seeing protests LIVE.

i read an article in the sydney herald and this fella said that they shd not be advocating aggression, instead they shd cultivate tolerance. i have mixed feelings over this issue. really, i dun want a war but saddam can get quite naughty. then again, bush always seem to wreak any kinda diplomatic relations with any country. watever it is, pray that there won't b a war.

no class tmrw. will be making dumplings, helen got me the stuff i need. very nice of her. i am really grateful to her. one of my frens said that i'm living with angels...yes, i am.
