i spent my day doing my laundry, reading up on choux pastry and watching tennis match on tv of course. developed my photos. i dun get a free photo album after i developed the photos. might have to go and buy one big one and maybe jot down notes. hmm...any idea how i shd keep my photos/ i dun have a scanner here. or else i can dump them all onlien for u all to drool over.

few days ago, one female MP in sydney, actually breastfeed her baby during a meeting and she was told that she can't do that coz under the law, the baby's considered a stranger or sthg like that. this made the headlines and today somebody wrote an "insight' or wat ST will categorize as "comments n analysis". i dunno who wrote this but he/she said that more and more women are working these days and those high fliers aren't making babies. sound sfamiliar right? then he/she said that it is understandable coz the working envmt is not condusive for women with hikdren esp'ly like the case of this female MP. in fact, he/ she said that in order to encourage women to make babies, then such stringent laws shd be removed. the working envmt has arole to play too.

i thought in australia they wldn't have this kinda pblm. looks like women have to continue to bear the brunt of all this not-enuff babies nonsense. not fair!!!

after dinner, paul was channel surfing and then he stopped on the channel that was showing the nutcracker suite. in case u dunno, it's a ballet performance. reminded me of my younger days when i learnt ballet. i used to learn at thomson plaza, sylvia mcCully ballet sch. one yr, we had a performance at kallang theatre and ms mcCully selected the ballerinas from all her classes. i was left out. i was very surprised coz i was the only one in my lass to ahve obtained an hons in the exams. how could i have been left out???? i found tat hard to accept. really disappointed. i remembered after she called out those names for the performance, all my frens turned round, looked at me n said "how come she didn't call ur name?" how would i know? i went to watch the performance and as i sat there, i longed to join my classmates in the performance which was a success.

few yrs later, i met ms McCully at thomson and she said that i refused to perform in the nutcracker and i told her that she didn't select me. she insisted that she did so. well, cldn't be bothered to "argue" with her. no point. it's all over. as iw as watching the nutcracker juz now, i recalled how much i enjoyed ballet. a pity that my ankles gave me pblms and that ended it.

hey1 did norah jones perform in singapore???? how come i dunno!!!
