helen was so nice. she saw an asian grocery store which she never knew it existed. well i dunno too. so she went into the store n she bought "kway teow" plus seaweed for soup. she didn't know wat kinda seaweed n she asked the store keeper. so i had hor fun for dinner. haha! feels good. i thought i did a gd job in it. maybe a little salty. actually i made a broth out of corn, barley which i juz boiled. then i fried shallots, onions, butternut squash n chinese melon with dark soy sauce n ginger. poured everyhting into the barly n corn stock. wanted to have beehoon soup with it. who knew that helen got kway teow. last min, change menu n have hor fun isntead. i had everything with me anyway. no pblm!
man...i miss curry, rojak n satay. auntie margaret aske dme wat i wanted to eat n i told her curry. actually i also miss mee siam n mee rebus. in this weather, these stuff wld be perfect for dinner!!! imagine sitting outside now, with beer n stingray n satay...my god...
i'm very happy today coz my bread, choc n photos are on their way home! yes, i sent abt 8 loaves of bread plus three bags of soft n crusty rolls home. my mum's colleague helped me to bring them back. i really want everyone to try wat i've made.
i watched tennis almost half the day today. was tired coz i slept late last nite plus got an early call from auntie margaret. well, i practically stoned the whole day. only after dinner then i regained some energy n revised my lecture notes. my exam's coming soon but i dunno when exactly. not bad right?
i'm gonna miss my frens when they return home in april. we've had alot of fun here. somehow we all "clicked". hiya, dun think so much abt watz life gonna be like after they leave.
