The mud cake we made yesterday was heavenly!!! Tasted soooo good. Soft n moist. Not dense at all. Paul n helen said that it’s really different from the ones they get from the shops here.

Today we made croissants. Plain ones n even some with choc. Yum yum. The recipe given to us by LCB was not that good. The chef gave us his recipe n man… that was superior to it for sure. The flavour plus flakiness of the croissant. Now I recall the ones that I ate in singapore, lacked not only in flavour but also, they tasted like dough. Tmrw we’ll be making savory ones-ham, cheese, bacon. I dare not indulge in it. hard to resist. But must be darn careful lor. I maybe jogging, swimming n walking a lot, still gotta exercise control.

Got 80% for today’s performance. Once again, I felt energetic. Dunno why. Maybe I’m getting used to morning life.

Juz now I had meatballs for dinner. I make a broth out of shiitake mushrooms, canned mushrooms plus alittle of the broth from the can, bok choy, tomato, ginger n before serving, I threw in the meatballs that have been seasoned n some bean sprouts. The funny thing was the coup tasted like beef soup! Yes, It was nice n pepperish too. I think I shd try n make it again. Maybe on Friday. Msut eat different food
