woke up at 6.45am today. was tired but cldn't sleep well. maybe it's becoz i was eager to get to the pharmacy to get the cream for my dry skin pblm. anyway, pharmacy not opened yet lah so i watched man u play agst eleds. on tv n saw the first goal. not bad huh n i'd already missed 37mins of the game.
then i prepared some some stuff for my 'picnic" session with myf rens at manly beach. manly beach, in my opnion, is far better than bondi beach. moreover, we took the ferry n the scenery was awesome! passed by the opera house n with the cool breeze, i was totally mesmerized!
i rented one boogie board for 2hrs. cost me $15. not very expensive. cheaper than bondi. th water was cold but the sun was shining brightly over our heads. the waves weren't that strong but strong enuff to carry me and my board over20m. my fren said that i looked like a sword fish. i was like flying in the water. that was really an experience! i hadn't expected that at all. was alittle shaken when i didn't stop gliding in the water...hahahahhaa. noticed that many pple were actually watching me as i glided...hahahhaa.
the water was extremely salty. so salty that it hurt our skin.
i'm exhausted now. walking n swimming agst the current was challenging. after every few metres, i was pushed back to near where i started walkng by the waves. but i didn't mind. where on earth in singapore can i get that!!!!
alittle sunburnt on my back now but i guess it's worth it.
