i had an enjoyable time yesterday. the bbq was nice. so much nice food. i'm really in love with the thai salad my crazy fren made. i ate alot of that salad. the king prawn was really KING size. everyone asked me where i had gotten them from. of coz it has to be flemington mkt. my char siu pork never fail to impress. bao bao said that it's the dish whcih had for all such eat-outs except for the jap one. it's the champion dish lor. flattered! my fren marinated the chicken wings with soy sauce, thai sauce, lotsa pepper n sugar. thai style. yum yum. finger licking good.
after the bbq we went to nuch's room n started to 'revise". not too bad. at least i came out with my work flow but i think there'll be more adjustments. theory wise, i'll juz read thr it today n tmrw. i shd be fine coz i revise constantly. i learnt how to sharpen the knife n how to use the small knife to make an oval-shaped carrot. cool man! baobao said that it looks as tho i was the only one sitting for basic cuisine exam coz i was practising hard on it.
first time i stayed overnight at their place n i tht i cldn't sleep but sllept damn well. today's warm. the weather here amazes me each day. but the breeze is cool. it'll be cool from wed or tue onwards. i saw the newspapers yesterday and spotted a few positions which i can try for. am gonna call them. nothing to lose at this point. baobao said that she has enver seen anyone who loves to work in the kitchen but she added that in order to do that, passion's the motivating factor. OF COZZZZZZZZZ.
am gonna miss nuch n baobao badly. we've had so much fun together. i really cannot imagine whats life gonna be without them. we've become such great pals.
