i went to balmain today, the place where i'll be starting work tmrw. this place is a classy suburb. it's very expensive to live in there according to my jap fren coz she's actually staying there currently (homestay).
balmain has many cafe n they look terrific!!! the decor! i must find out who the interior designers are!!! every cafe' distinct! i dunno if it's the layout, (hmmm...maybe it could be the layout) but it's a place which i believe u all will wanna visit if u come down to sydney. but u must like coffee, chocolate...well, basically food lah.
there's even a balmain mkt there. it's small tho but still...
it's been raining since 12pm this afternoon. second time i heard thunder here.
yesterday i watched this movie "murder by decree". it's abt sherlock holmes investigating the case of "jack the ripper". wait....this "jack the ripper" is a fictitious one. not the true crime story. it was nice. i love detective stories since i was young. grew up reading sherlock holmes. he always amazes me. i always wondered how come he could crack cases so easily.
i'm looking fwd to work tmrw. at least i'll be doing sthg! n i'm defintely looking fwd to class. jean told me that for our practical exam, we've to make an Opera. u know watz that? it's a cake basically. i can't believe it. i'm gonna make an Opera??? i only see them in cake shops. the Opera's for all of u.
ok, i'll be back tmrw nite. hopefully i've more interesting stuff for u. msut be boring u all with my boredom here. sorry mates!
