the chicken curry pies were all sold out by noon today. for that, my boss gave me $20 more in my pay. not bad huh.
i had a busy day. went for morning swim, did my laundry, went to work. made tarts today for the weekend. i'm tired again.but i've had a fruitful day. ifel asked me to write the word 'lemon" on the lemon tart this afternoon. that's really hard for me coz u need yrs of practice to be able to write nicely lor. i tried writing on the bench instead. not too bad for someone who doesn't do it often. in the ned yasmina wrote on the tart. frankly speaking, i tht i wrote better than her. hahhaha.
ifel was really nice when i said that i can't write well. he said "u can't make paris in a day".
tmrw i'll be going out with aunt margaret's mother. my good fren leh. dunno why i can communicate so well with pple of all ages. hey1 u know my partner in class is this other thai gal who's very quiet. she calls herself nancy. so i try to get her to talk as much as possible n to date, i've been very suc/f. her ex-partner said to me " i'm really impressed, laurel. wat did u do to her?" hahahaha. thenni told takako that by the end of this course, i'll not only receive a diploma in patisserie but also, one in speech and communication. am so proud of myself.
i started off this entry with good news n now i'm gonna end it off with another piece of gd news: my mum's comin to sydney next mth!!! am looking fwd to seeing her.
