today i made mainly 'party" food at work. those tartlets, mini pies and as usual, their quiches. boy, their pies and quiches sold like hotcakes.
also, their bread never failed to impress but sthg scary happened today. this guy came in to buy a sauage roll and after awhile he came back and started shouting and then went behind the counter and banged on the thing that keeps food warm. oops, i can't remember wat u call that but basically hot pies and puffs are left there to keep them warm. this crazy guy yelled sthg like the sausage roll was too hot. my boss went out to look for him but that fella could not be found. i thought he wanted to tear down the place or wat. so many pple bought sausage pies and he was the only one to come yelling at us. i think he's insane.
today the boss asked me to take out 72 croissants from the freezer for tmrw. i took out the ones i made yesterday and he told me to put them back coz he was saving it for a customer's order for a party. he told me that the croissants were beautiful. could feel my head swelling man.....hahahaha.
got my first paycheck. not alot but at least i'm not spending. also, i've been making full use of my time. no work tmrw so will be home doing my laundry, plan to clean up the room and in the night go out with my frens for a drink. i look fwd to saturdays coz the newspaper is full of interesting articles.
