Today we made St Honere (pronounced as saint honor ray). It’s made out of puff pastry and cream puffs and it’s a cake!! Dunno why it’s called a cake when it’s all pastries. Man…deadly thing I’ve here with me now. My fren snapped a pic of it with me in it so it’ll fwd to all of u once I get hold of the pics.
It was an interesting lesson coz we made both puff and choux pastry and assemble them together as a cake. Also, the chef actually made croissants for us to bring home. He made a total of 144 croissants. Think I’ll dream of croissants too. btw, my partner said that she's very impressed with my puff pastry.
It has been raining the entire day. flashfloods again. The govt said that it’s a natural disaster. Hahahaa…NSW is really an interesting place. One moment no water next moment too much of it.
Tmrw I’ll be working again. Not that I mind. Looking fwd to it. hopefully can make more croissants.
