slept really well last nite. 8hrs of sleep....felt so good.
went for my morning jog n then siripon asked me to join them for yum cha. but in the end we went to eat thai food. PP, siripon's classmate brought us to this thai restaurant for lunch. i think the food's nice. looks like i am appreciating thai food more n more. i can defintely eat more spicy food than before. noticed this when i was in singapore.
walked to The Rocks after that. but of coz, stopped at several places to shop. i bought five magazines. two of them had another free copy attached to it. so that's why i ended up with 5 mags. was forced to get vogue fashion mag coz i wanted their free mag on food. so stupid right? but ir eally liked that food mag. then i wanted to buy jamie oliver's first recipe book coz i dun have it n it's much cheaper over here. but how on earth can i carry it????
at the Rocks, we went to Renaissance to try out their pastries. the "aroma" was nice. the coffee was just so so only. the lemon tart was yummy!!!! ah, i'm such a fan of lemon tart now.
after that takako n i went to siripon's house. we baked bread with eggs, milk, bacon, onion, tomatoes, sausage. i made that. not that tasty coz we had only 2 slices of bacon. if there were more bacon, the taste wld be better.
then we just laze ard n chatted till about 9 plus before we all headed home. that's just my day. relaxing but fun. i really enjoy my frens' company.
next sunday, we intend to have a late lunch at balmain, then go down to birkenhead point n walk. there's a nice walkway over there. will take us abt one hr palce to finish walking. then i asked takako to cook jap curry for me. will get her the ingredients tmrw.
will go down to Ayers' Rocks in early oct. probably spend five days there then go down to adelaide for three days followed by another three days in melbourne. by the time we reach sydney, it's about time for us to return home for good. everything's moving so fast these days that i find it hard to catch up with the time.
still, life is beautiful...
