couldn't write my journal last nite coz i was too tired. it's only7am now. woke up jsut to get a nice warm drink. 7degrees out there. feeling abit chilly here.
wonder how was the national day celebrations?
yesterday at work, i was asked once again to handle the oven n ifel also told me how to use my feelings, that is, intuition to make bread. it's not easy at all altho it seems simple. i really need intensive training for making bread. wat did LCB teach me about bread? SHIT!
forgot to mention that i found two singaporeans in the basic cuicine class. oneof them recognized my accent when it alked to myfr ens. it's nice to have singaporeans around u afterall. i mean, we all have the same passion so it's always easier tot alk to pple who know wat they want in life. that's why i "click' so well with my frens here. we have a common interest.
later my frens will be coming over to my place. am gonna make dumplings n shantung spring onion pancake. i dunno if the latter will work coz i think the dough's not soft enuff. anyway, will try later.
i prepared all the stuff last nite. strange u know, i cldn't sleep after work yesterday, unlike last saturday. i felt energetic. watz wrong with me??!!! but now my head feels pretty light. after ths, am going back to sleep. will have a swim later n then come home, make the dumplings.
it's a pity i can't make lemon tarts coz i dun have almond cream n lemon to make the curd. never mind. dun think i can eat anyway.
i dunr eally like sch now coz superior class is all artistry work. gotta work meticulously n creatively all the time. me not that creative n artistic. i prefer to work. found the baker's bible which ifel recommended on amazon.com. it's cheaper to get it there but of coz with the help of my "sista" lah. i think i'll soon have a culinary library of my own. isn't that cool?
