crazy day just now. it was busy busy busy but we were all happy esp'ly ifel. at least it was worth our effort for staying up all night to prepare the stuff. btw, whenever ifel had to throw away any of the leftover bread, his eyes were teary.

i had a nice long chat with one of the customers after work. she used to be a chef n she was telling me that french patisserie is indeed the best in the world n that i'm very lucky to be taught my ifel. she added that i've the right attitude n personality in this industry. service industry is not just a monetary n goods transaction between two parties but a social event. that means we should interact n share info n perhaps even understand from each other our different culture n backgrounds. she's absolutely right! i am generally pleased with the customers who come to the bakery coz they're allf renly. of course there're some "assholes" too. i would love to ahve a bakery + cafe n be able to befren my customers. with my ability to talk to any tom dick or harry, i should survive very well in this industry.

haven't sleep since last nite's 2 hr nap before work. just came back from a swim. the whole idea is to exhaust myself n then go to bed early n sleep n sleep n sleep.

yesterday there was this customer who said that i spoke with a french accent. i was like "huh?" i dunno if that's flattering or not but for me, i think he's dumb. i'm nowhere near the french accent. think he ate too many meat pies n sausage rolls. hahhahaha.

ok, time to check my mail. ciao!
