heard about the two singaporean students who were killed in sydney. they live in randwick, where one of my classmates live. i'm fine n will be careful. i'll make it back home in one piece.
we've finally completed our sugar baskets n the fruits. they look lovely. we've kept them in large plastic bags to prevent the sugar from coming into contact with moisture. they're gonna be presented on our graduation day!!! so proud of it. it's hard work u know. i feel so pro now. three ways to "play" around with sugar :casting, pulling n blowing. mind u, we handled boiled sugar that has reached the temp of 150 degrees. imagine pulling the sugar with ur hands. gotta wear gloves but still, could feel the heat.
9 weeks just zoomed past like that. next week's my exam. and then i graduate with my diploma. it's a pity i can't afford to take basic cuisine. but never mind.
next wed, after our exam, we're going to takako's house for bbq. it'll be fun. we're all crazy pple. hahahaa...happy chefs.
i've another mth here before i go home n start selling my stuff. opera gateau's on my list for christmas. it's really nice.
btw, i finished the strawberry gateau just now at takako's house. ate a small slice n i must say that sponge's a killer. next week i'm making that for my exam. beautiful!!!
