a new life

just to let ya know what's going on at work for me. not so much hell now coz one the gal who makes the cakes has resigned n she'll leave at the end of the mth, if not, early january. she's teaching me how to make the cakes. when i held the spatula yesterday n started spreading the batter on the trays, my passion for baking arose once agaain. this gal looks really serious at work n i found it hard to talk to her. however, she broke her silence last nite n told me wat she went thr when she first stepped in to conrad. the exec chef told me abt her too. btw, the exec chef, GM n the F&B director have all spoken to me. they told me to press on. the exec chef's talk was the most "valuable" one. he was spot on when he said everything abt how i felt n more imptly, why i felt like that. he advised me tos tay on for 6mths n then see if i feel that the hotel industry's suitable for me.

my chef's really nice. last nite he told me to take all the recipes n photostat. i wanna learn more abt chocolate from him. but he has no time right now to teach anyone of us. however, he tried to explain the dessert combination n i thanked him for that. it's a learning experience. i may continue to work on n excel in my job. i've a goal. the GM told me to look ahead. he's right. time's not a pblm. i must fight on for the sake of my dream.

will let ya know more after christmas coz that's when i've to tell them if i wanna stay on.

pple, i'll try n update this site as regularly as possible. extremely busy. worked nine days in a row without a day off.
