at abt 10pm this chef from dunno which kitchen, came into our kitchen n asked us to help cover the work of those going for competition. ont hef irst day of the competition, raffles expects 8 medals. my god....when i heard that, i cld feel the pressure which the competitors are experiencing right now. also, i begin to see raffles as a no-nonsense place.
anyway, today i amde lemon cream, tiramisu, tart shells, strwberry sorbet, cream cheese tart and pre-plated some desserts. it was a tiring day but fulfilling one.
i'm off tmrw. i think i'm off on every sunday which is good. my home is like a hotel now. raffles is like my home. hahahaha. it's true. i spend most of my time there.
oh, i've a slight burn on my right arm. all thanks to the lemon cream that spurted out while it was boiling. could feel my skin being cooked. yucks! luckily it's jsut a small drop. but it's painful.
that's all i have for today. can sleep for 8hrs man....night!
