i clocked 13hrs at work today. so tired now. even my butt hurts. today, we didn't make much stuff. most of the time we were finishing off the cakes n desserts. but the variety was good n i'm very impressed with the way they present their desserts. very elegant.
there was this chocolate thing that's made out of three pieces of choc, each was as thick as a vanguard sheet. we piped vanilla cream onto each choc, dropped some pine nuts n then stacked them up. i never eat it but the idea was simple yet effective.
it's hard worka t raffles but if i keep seeing things like that, i'm a happy person. afterall, i am going for the experience. altho i dunnno my colleagues well, it's ok, i need more time. however, i must admit that i do miss my conrad colleagues. we had fun.
tats abt it for today. tmrw i'llstart workat 1pm. my sous chef said that it's not neccessary to start at 10am. must be flexible. i agree.
