damn! my hopes of watching the foodasia competition next week are dashed as i found out that it's gonna be a busy week. well, guess i've tow ait two yrs later to catch it. i thought two yrs later i can be a participant.
well, too bad.
we're not very busy at work lately but still there seems alot of things to be done. strange. maybe it's all the prep work.
hey! last week burberry held a fashion show n set dinner at the bar n billiar room. gee...the service staff were all dressed in black. damn cool!!! wonder if burberry asked them to dress like that. that night, christopher bailey was there. i didn't know who he was till ir ead the papers that night. another big shot i served.
coupla days ago, saw teo chee hean n someother ministers. we lost money for that nite's cocktail reception. $20 per head for 300 pax! pls...$20!!!! so manys ervice staff some more. raffles was just selling their name i think.
i got an sms from a pri sch mate of mine. wasn't close to her at all but last mth my frens n i met her at paragon. apparently one of my pri sch mate told her wat i'm doing right now n she got to talk to me that day for awhiile. she asked me if i cld go to her sec sch to talk to the students there. they wanted pple who're pursuing their dreams. i agreed but only if it fits into my schedule. not to flaunt anything coz i've nothing impressive at all to boast abt. but i wanna pass a msg to the younger gen:
do not fear hardship. when u're young, learn to endure it. be humble n treat every negative as a learning experience.
