haven't been here for quite some time. yeah, was away for the whole of last week. then it's straight off to work.
i'm down with cold n sore throat again. jsut two weeks ago, i had the same illness. guess the warm-cold cold-warm climate is damaging my system. am on medical elave today.
work is fine except that i've to "look after" my new colleague. her heart's still with her former team. i can tell. she'll come to work earlier to help her former team mates with their work n when they're short of sthg, she's really eager to help them out, to the extent of not finishing her job. so i'll to follow up n complete it for her. i can understand the bond she has with her former mates. i dun mind her helping out coz i also help them out too but that's only when i've completed my job. in short, u must finish ur work first. so i told myself not to be irritated by this. instead, i'll let her do wat she wants until she settles down with us.
am i mean? it left me in a state of confusion. no wonder they say that lady bosses are tyrants. hahahaha....wow....cannot be like that.
and now, on to the olympics. ronald susilo's out. i think he should not feel disappointed for singapore coz we certainly dun deserve this. susilo shd be proud of himself for making it this far int he games. it's a feat for himself. try again susilo! dun give up!
as for our 100% singaporean athletes, congrats! u guyz may have dropped out in the first two rounds but it's ok. we do not have the technology n proper facilities to nurture u all. to even qualify is good enuff. i rather have a 100% singapore athlete lose than to see a foreign singapore athlete win for us. i'm not agst pple like susilo n jing junhong. i just hate the govt for trying to buy foreign goods to shut up a nation's cry for a more active sports scene.
