hello folks! guess wat? i've been promoted!! actually it's not even a promotion coz i was supposed to start from this position. so now i'm cook 2. long way to the top but i's ok. i'm progressing. no matter wat, i'm happy.
amidst this happiness, i'm also in a dilemma: dunno i i shd join the world gourmet summit scholarship. only one winner who'llg et to go to france. the competition comprises three components. first, a theory test n the top 6 scorers will be selected to go for a practical test followed by an interview. my colleague won this yr's scholarship. very tempting but i dunno i i'm up to it. sreiously, u can say i've zero confidence. but i feel like giving a shot. the dateline's on 20th oct. so i've got abit more time to decide. i wanna win, not just go for experience sake.
last nite, five of us, all gals went to one ofmy colleague's house for bbq. lovely evening. we had the bbq ont he rooftop which was sheltered coz it was raining. ir elaly enjoyed myself altho i was bushed. this sorta cotnact time with colleagues brings us together. but my mum was not hppy coz i came home at 1am.
alrighty, time to pen off. gotta worka t 8am tmrw to make scones. so dumb! we have a high tea menu at 11am in the morning. watz that nonsense?! might as well have brunch man. at elast it's BRUNCH AT 11AM.
