heyo pals! i'ms till working at raffles hotel. however, i've been transferred from one table to another. hahahaha....???? no idea wat i'm talking abt right? ok, at raffles we have a few food outlets so previously i was working under functions/ banquets. that emans all the weddings, VIP functions, dinner n dance for companies...my job is to make sure they get their desserts. it can be set dinner/lunch or buffet style. it depends on the event order (menu).
as of next monday, i'll be making alot of cakes, writing a fair bit like "HAPPY BIRTHDAY", GO TO HELL....anything that the customer wants on their cake. now the main outlet that sells cakes is called AH TENG'S BAKERY. so basically i'll be doing the daily supply of cakes to this outlet. on top of that there's another food outlet which is popular amgst the young pple, SEAH STREET DELI, and over here, i'll be supplying them their desserts. so i'll get to ice alot of cakes, bake n make different things. oh yes, then there is the LOG CAKES coming up ind ec n it's my duty to fix them. mind ya, it's for the whole hotel. that means all the food outlets will get their log cakes from me.
i'm sad to leave banquet but there's also a sense of anticipation. i'm looking fwd to working at ah teng.
if u guyz happen to drop by raffles hotel, go to ah teng's bakery at raffles hotel n check out the cake counter. u'll see my masterpieces.
