wondering where i've disappeared to again? haha! was on holiday!!! went to osaka n this coastal place called wakayama. wakayama lies on the south of japan. the entire place is surrounded by the pacific ocean. serene, calming, tranquil n breathtaking. really a clear break from the cosmopolitan life in sg. that was exactly what i was looking for.
i loved the food there. had jap meals. the ramen, okonomiyaki, tako balls....plus the lovely cakes n bread......my god...i love OSAKA!!! it's ebtter than tokyo. in osaka, food is the main priority for the people whereas in tokyo, it's the image.
cherry blossoms were a huge disappoitment. got to see one pathetic tree only n it looked really sad. never mind, got a good excuse to go back again. haha.
i enjoyed this trip. now i'm down with the flu bug. darn! happy ending huh.
