hmmm...i had to teach my colleague how to make the mango mousse cake this morning. well, he's a 30-yr old guy....the kan chong kind. whenever he has to do a mousse...my god...he looked damn bloody stressed up lor....so today when i saw my name n his name on the board ...i could feel the strain man...hahaha...my other colleagues said that my area was the danger zone n everyone must clear off from that area. hahahaha...actually fortunately for me, he was exceptionally cheerful today n it made my task much easier.
he's the second person i taught n i'm very happy with myself coz i know wat i'm doing. i was happier with myself in the afternoon coz i had to make a chocolate mousse cake n last sat, i made a shiny n smooth mousse. i produced 77 of such individual cakes. today, i made the same amount too! u may not understand how i feel. u see...mousse is pretty tricky esp'ly chocolate. u've to catch the temp of the cream n the choc. it a balance between hot n cold....i caught that! didn't seem to achieve that in raffles.
see...crossing over to TCC has improved my skill significantly.
another piece of good news...my student's mum told me that she's veyr impressed with the way i teach her son. her son enjoys my lesson n whenever she asked him to do his work, he'll pick up his maths assessment book first. she asked me if i could teach her elder son sec 2 maths but it's a no no for me. yes, i wanna earn abit more but i'm not gonna ruin someone's maths standard when i know my own abilities. so i told her frankly that i only teach english from sec level onwards. fair enuff.
today's been a great day for me! when did i last feel so wonderful? oh, btw, i had a good swim too! that's like the icing on the cake.
