was busy for the last two weeks coz of christmas but things have slowed down alittle coz we took out two tiems from our cake counters. the strawberry shortcake n the fruit roll. i thought that was very unneccessary. all they had to do was change the cream. instead of using whipped cream weshd have used topping cream. then dunno wat happened, all of a sudden, our mago mousse cake was taken off the rack too! shd be able to get an ans by tmrw. we were told that they'll start selling it again next mth. hmmm....why stop for a few days?
My CDP (chef de partie = section leader) is really a kanchong spider. he stresses over every minute stuff. today i had to stop doing choc cigar rolls twice jsut to help him cut the cakes n pack tmrw's stuff for delivery. really pissed with him coz he took a freaking long time to finish cutting the cakes. and this chef came into the kitchen n my cdp happily chatted with him whle cutting the cakes. hello, u're oredi sooooooo slow, just zip up n do ur work. cannot make it.
i was very touched when i met up with my ex colleague coz she actually bought me a pkt of coffee powder from bali when she was there on holiday earlier this mth. she's the one whom i always "quarrelled" at ah teng. yeah, surprise huh! i doubted that the coffee wld be gd coz she doesn't drink coffee. it eased her abt this but i really appreciated this gesture. no matter how bad the coffee is, i'll drink it. it's the thought that counts.
