BISCOTTI FREAK
last fri, i was so blur at work....took 500ml of water for one biscotti recipe instead of 50ml. so i got a paste onstead of a dough. my boss asked me to do 9 more times of the same recipe. finally i had 70 biscotti logs. normally, one recipe can get 7 logs. can last us for a long time. the dough is extremely stiff so my arm muscle ached. had to rub ointment. so funny.
lately i've been making a string of mistakes at work. i need a break. it's not that i dun love wat i'm doing. pple in the creative industry tend to have ups n downs working at a place. i've reached my peak n now i need a break. i need to refresh my brain, get outta singapore n experience sthg new. i must feel rejuvenated again in order for me to hit my peak. it's normal for me to behave like that.
so i'm going on a holiday during the march break. accompanying my mum to beijing. took a tour with hong thai. the bad news is i've to stop over in HK for one night before returning to Sg. hate that. dun like HK. but well, no choice. initially i wanted to go to egypt. however, its too ex. they expect us to pay US dollars.
anyway, today's my cousin's birthday. the youngest one. made her a mango shortcake. pretty funky. dun think pple will make cakes like i do. no one cake's the same if u really use ur passion. back at raffles, my colleagues can tell which french pastry's been decorated by me, which cake's decorated by me. the cake reflects the decorator's personality. i've been known to be funky n therefore my things are all free form.
watz the next cake i shd make.....

MY WEDDING CAKE!!!! hahaha Chill out brudder... you're going great.. Without mistakes to laugh at and think back later, there won't be moments for us to appreciate our efforts when things are smooth sailing. Keep it up (not the mistakes, but at expressing yourself)
