GONG XI FA CAI
heyo guyz!
howz life? i've been busy with the lunar new year prep. extremely busy with the annual bbq at my place on sat night. abt 70pax. i made a huge oprea cake which was a hit, two bowls of tiramisu, cream puffs but filled with lemon curd n a slice of fresh strawberry. i also made red bean agar agar. that night, i fried 10 pkts of beehoon. my relatives almost ate up my house...hahaha...exaggerating la. but iw as veyr pleased with my work that night. pple actually wanted to order the opera cake from me...dunno how true it is but well, made me happy. my beehoon was a hit...thanks to grandma passing me the baton. she used to fry it but this yr, she left it to me.
tell ya sthg...for the first time 25yrs,my dad called me last week to wish me happy new year n asked me to collect the ang pao from him personally. normally, he asked my mum to gimme the ang bao on his behalf then he return the money to her. i think he wants me tot ake care of him....aiyo...must migrate faster. my mum asked me if there's a day to come when he asks me if he can live with me...god...how to accept him in? i mean so many yrs...no daddy in the house...and now? gee..that's a horrible thought. pray that it will enver happen.
went back to raffles to visit my ex colleagues. got to know two new characters n i thought we hit it off very well. two new pals!
