fairPlay

right now i have to plan the work list for everyone in the kitchen. basically, i go by fair play, that is, everyone will get to do everything but on a rotation basis. so far, no complaints. the whole idea of this rotation system to make sure that everyone gets to do a product n therefore will not lose touch.

my boss is biased towards this gal n we all know abt it. it's like overtly blatant. any blind fella also can see it. my boss likes to disturb her n often suggested that she shd do chocolate garnish as this gal hates doing so. whenever someone does chocolate work, that person can't be distracted n can happily chat with whoever's next to him/her. that's why my boss wants her to do it coz she can entertain my boss.

however, i feel that this is not right at all. it's for the reason that i gave at the start of this entry. furthermore, the newest fella seldom gets the chance to do chocolate work. i want him to practise things like spreading the sponge mix evenly n folding different mousses. today i did the same thing, went up to the white board n lsited the work we have to do for tmrw then i wrote everyone's names next to the different items. my boss when to change one of the stuff to let her pet do. she has been doing this very often so i didn't want her to do it.

it's pissing me off. i hate such biasness. i mean, if ya wanna have fun, u cna do so for sure but only if it doesn't affect our work. this is affecting me coz it's my job to create fairplay n allow everyone to have a go at the products. yet, there's nothing much i cna do. damn frustrating!

Not trying to find fault with you. Not sure if you expressed to your boss that you're rotating everyone around, or is it something that's in your mind or between the few around you? On the other hand, it takes 2 hands to clap, it needs that guy to deny the chances of learning new things and stick with the chocolate too. in another words, ever spoken to that guy if he likes being there or he rather be rotated around too? (please please PLEASE not to let you personal feelings and biaseness get involve when doing that).
